I can say only good things about the job they did -- high quality and efficiently. Moreover , they were able to get here in a couple hours, while other companies could do it only in a couple days. So, if I have another immergency I will call them right away (and be prepared to pay an emergency fee -- about $1000 for about 1/2 hour of work)

No, not all septic systems are the same size. The appropriate size septic tank for your house depends on the number of bedrooms in your home, number of people living there, and the home’s square footage. For more information on septic services, call the experts at Emergency Plumbing & Solar.
The most surefire way to prevent septic failure is to keep up with the proper maintenance. Maintenance you can do yourself includes avoiding excess water use and being mindful of what you put down your drains and flush down your toilets. Additionally, it’s also pivotal to have Emergency Plumbing & Solar inspect your septic tank system and perform preventative maintenance at least once a year.
Indications that your system is not functioning properly and should be checked by a professional plumber at Emergency Plumbing & Solar include water surfacing on the ground, gurgling coming from your plumbing appliances and fixtures, toilets and sinks draining slowly, system backups, and foul sewage odors inside the house or outside.
There are no chemical products that are safe for you to use on your septic system, yourself. The best thing you can do to keep your septic tank system working as well as possible is to have a professional plumber from Emergency Plumbing & Solar properly maintain your septic tank at least once a year.
If your yard has a wet spot in it that has a bad odor, there is most likely something wrong with your drain field. When too much sewage leaks from your septic tank into the drain field, instead of properly draining downwards, it will drain upwards into your yard. Your field may either need to be revitalized or remove the blockage. If you notice a wet spot in your yard that has a bad odor, call Emergency Plumbing & Solar to have a plumber dispatched to your home right away.
